Carpets
At Solomons Carpets & Floors we are not your run of the mill carpet shop, we have hundreds of carpet remnants, ranging from felt-back polypropylene to woven wool and everything inbetween, In addition we have more than 130 full rolls of carpet in stock at our local warehouse at any one time, most of which are ready to be taken away or can be fitted within 24 hours (subject to availability).
Our large selection of carpets covers many reputable British manufacturers, including Abingdon, Cormar, Penthouse, and Victoria Carpets. When it comes to the trade, we deal with many of Europes biggest names including, Associated Weavers (Featuring I-Sense, Invictus, Sedna & Stain Away Ranges.) Balta, Riviera Home, Kersaint Cobb, Gaskell Wool Rich & Kingmead Carpets to name a few.
As a bespoke service, we can make custom stair runners & rugs from most of our carpet ranges.
Additional Services
Alongside offering advice and assistance at our showroom, we provide a number of other additional services. Free measuring and estimates are available for jobs of all sizes, while we also offer a professional fitting service. Alternatively, if you would prefer to fit the carpet yourself, we deliver to local customers for a small charge, or allow for the products to be collected from our warehouse or store where possible.
Vinyl
To cater for the varied needs of our customers, we stock a vast selection of vinyl remnants ranging in size. What’s more, we have an even larger collection of cut lengths to choose from, with approximately 500 different designs and ranges available. These cut lengths generally come in widths of 2, 3, or 4 metres and are available in any length you require. A small selection of our vinyl flooring is available with a width of 5 metres.
Among our vinyl range, you will find many of the country’s biggest names, including Rhino Floor, PolyFlor, Leoline, Avenue, Ultragrip, Tarkett, and Lifestyle Floors. Most of our vinyl flooring can be available the very next day (subject to stock availability).
Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) & Laminate
Luxury vinyl tiles, also known as LVT, are the latest in floorcovering technology. Combining the beautiful looks and texture of natural products, such as marble and wood, with the practical attributes of warmth, waterproofing, and durability, luxury vinyl tiles are a great way to match your flooring with your lifestyle. LVT are made with the opinion that durability doesn’t have to come at the expense of good looks. Our wood and tile effect designs offer a dash of beauty with a helping of practicality. High-definition print means floors made from LVT and tile effect designs have a natural appearance and offer great performance.
LVT can be laid over many existing hard floorcoverings, and, unlike other alternatives, LVT have great sound absorption properties. What’s more, luxury vinyl tiles can be laid over underfloor heating, making it the ideal underfoot surface for late-night and early morning excursions.
In store we now stock a minimum of 20 pallets of laminate & LVT flooring at any one time, from clearance specials to current lines, while we have access to hundreds more different designs, most of which can be delivered to us the very next day. Covering big brand names such as CoreTec, Egger, Kaindl, Estilo and Lifestyle Floors to name a few, our range is sure to include the perfect flooring for your home.
